It has great cultural and symbolic significance, associated with respect for women, their moral authority and their role as mediators in conflicts. When a woman drops a <em>le\u00e7ek <\/em>on the ground between two feuding families or individuals, the violence must cease.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the album, the <em>le\u00e7ek <\/em>is a reminder that, despite everything, life, love and the journey forward remain possible.<\/p>\n<p><em>Kewnar<\/em>\u00a0is the Kurdish word for the male partridge. And it is the first song on the album <em>Le\u00e7ek.\u00a0<\/em>The image of this bird is used to convey the Kurds\u2019 connection to freedom and nature: the partridge cannot be domesticated and is in love with the mountains. Written and composed by Sa\u00eed\u00ea Goy\u00ee in the mid-1990s, it is presented here in an arrangement by Ali Do\u011fan G\u00f6n\u00fclta\u015f.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">CLICK TO WATCH THE FIRST SINGLE,\u00a0<em>KEWNAR:<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=VDPhVbp4tsw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"mcnImage aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/mcusercontent.com\/993c677d53044839b1b39b2dc\/video_thumbnails_new\/a6016258ca03147da5a1850268538a09.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"528\" height=\"360\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The videoclip, directed by Veysel Se\u00e7en and\u00a0with the dance and choreography by \u015eev\u00een Yel, marks the beginning of a series of five music videos, to be released ahead of the album.<\/p>\n<p>Conceived as interconnected chapters, the five videos of the album unfold around a shared theme, forming a single narrative.\u00a0<em>Le\u00e7ek <\/em>sometimes grows heavy, sometimes disperses, sometimes turns into rain.
