Here we are still in confinement. My father was two nights at the hospital but now he is at home and recovering and I am happy to share one more musical wonder with you.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/mcusercontent.com\/bc493816d894ee14ba9103e7b\/images\/1bed5e59-6d96-47a1-b74f-6b281a2f4747.jpg\" width=\"200\" align=\"left\" data-file-id=\"1709943\" \/>I discovered David Kadoch by chance, searching for Sephardic music at the Youtube (the true is that I do this very often: it was a matter of time that I found him).\u00a0He has a huge collection of wonderful recordings in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/dkadoch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">his\u00a0<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/dkadoch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">channel<\/a>, specially focused on Moroccan Sephardic repertoire.<\/p>\n<p>But the recording I share with you today is in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCK-cMp9FyyvzLCEOooNy99w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the channel of Dark\u00e9 Aboutenu<\/a>, an initiative born in 2017 in Canada,\u00a0with the aim of disseminating the culture of the Moroccan Jewry.\u00a0Check\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.darkeabotenou.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">their website<\/a>, where you can also join their mailing list.<\/p>\n<p>The portrait is from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/davkadoch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">David&#8217;s Facebook\u00a0profile<\/a>. And the recording in the video below is\u00a0<em>Tikun Hatal<\/em>,\u00a0the prayer for dew, recited in the Sephardic tradition on the first day of Pesach.
