In line with family tradition, Marko began playing the trumpet before his fifth birthday and since then, he remains passionately focused on the instrument, as well as practicing another discipline that dominates equally well: singing.
Marko and his father Boban have played together for years until, in 2006, Marko begins with his own orchestra of brass instruments, instruments his energetic gypsy music all over the world. Marko Markovic has collaborated with musicians such as Emir Kusturica, Goran Bregovic, DJ Shantel, Ivo Papazov, Esma Redzepova, etc.
Gypsy music, with its exceptionally fast tempo and exciting energy, has become one of the registered brands in the area. Its tremendous characteristic vitality is also seasoned with a wonderfully oriental melancholic soul.
